A letter from the Committee on Fuel Poverty based on the 2023 annual report was sent to the Energy Efficiency Taskforce containing key recommendations.
On 15 August 2023, the Committee on Fuel Poverty wrote a letter to the Energy Efficiency Taskforce on the Committee’s recent annual report. It highlighted their five key recommendations which were underpinned by calls to action. The recommendations focused on fuel poverty commitments and strategies, addressing the affordability of energy bills and a ‘fair transition to net zero that does not increase fuel poverty’.
